We have a rich environment where we promise parents that students will experience a special form of school spirit. Our student culture promises a wide range of values surrounding, but not limited to:
We begin every day in the Gym with assembly. We start off with our daily duas and protection from shaytan. We want our students to know that their journey at ADS is a spiritual one and that we all need Allah’s guidance to perform the best we can. Our students learn the identity of what Islam teaches us. Students are not mindlessly put through the motions of religion.
Gender Interaction:
Islam has promised both girls and boys the equal opportunity to knowledge and communication. Our students are given the portrayal of the real-world through mixed classes and taught the importance of respect and seeing each other as human beings. Our students know that boys are boys and girls are girls, and because of that, they respect each other in terms of Islamic protocol. The themes of harmful interaction that exist in modern American culture are understood and implemented by our students.
