Al-Salam Day School strives to make tuition for its families as affordable as possible. Our school will offer financial assistance on a need basis for Muslim families who are unable to afford the cost of private Islamic education for their children. Al-Salam Day School believes that no Muslim child should be deprived of attending an Islamic school and getting a quality education in an Islamic environment.

The financial aid application will serve to gather information about the families who require financial assistance. The amount awarded will be influenced by family size, family income, and funds availability. Financial assistance can be awarded for the entire school year or part of the school year. Only students enrolled in grades 1-12 are eligible for financial aid. Funding is applicable to tuition only; the registration fees are the responsibility of the family. No financial assistance is currently being offered for preschool (Pre-K) and kindergarten (KG).

The financial aid application must be completed every year as financial aid is NOT renewed automatically. It is the responsibility of the parents to re-apply and repeat the full application process each academic school year for financial assistance.

To be accepted for review, an applicant must submit ALL REQUIRED ITEMS as listed. Applications submitted prior to May 1, 2024, will receive priority, however submitting an application does not guarantee approval of Financial Aid. Applications will be reviewed and the decision will be made by the School Board.

In order to provide financial assistance to deserving families, ZAKAH FUNDS will be utilized. All funding for our financial aid program is provided by Muslim donors who wish to support Islamic education in our community.

In case of any change in your household financial status, you are required to inform the ADS School Board immediately.

You will be notified about the status of your application after it is reviewed. Please note that all financial assistance requests, including financial information and award amounts, are kept completely confidential. Families are expected to keep the amount of their award confidential.
